Gold-plated jewelry contains a layer of gold applied over another base material. The plating may naturally wear or fade over time depending on usage and care.

Exposure to water, sweat, perfume, lotions, cosmetics, chlorine, salt water, cleaning products, chemicals, and friction may accelerate fading, tarnishing, discoloration, or wear.

Normal wear and tear or changes resulting from improper care are not considered manufacturing defects.

If returning an item causes the original order to no longer qualify for the promotion, the promotional benefit may be recalculated and deducted from the applicable refund.
